Tuesday's Tip - Thanksgiving Leftovers

With Thanksgiving this week, I decided my tip will be for the leftovers that always seem to come with the holidays.  My absolute favorite thing to do is to make freezer meals right away after the meal is done.  I take mashed potatoes layer them on the bottom of a dish, next I use turkey and whichever vegetable we had, then I drizzle some gravy(just enough to make so it isn't too dry), last of all I put dressing/stuffing on top.  If there isn't enough dressing/stuffing, I do turkey on the bottom with vegetables and some gravy drizzled on top of it all, then finish it off with mashed potatoes like a shepherd's pie.  I keep out a bit of turkey for sandwiches, but this way we don't get so sick of our Thanksgiving meal and I have meals for the coming weeks.  It's like killing two birds with one stone!  Do you have a favorite tip for your Thanksgiving leftovers?  Leave a comment and share with the rest of us!
