Cream Cheese Sauce for Potatoes

My husband came up with this recipe.  Definitely not the most healthy, but it's delicious!  It's made specifically for potatoes, but we also usually make green beans at the same time and top them both with this sauce.  I measured these ingredients just for you!  I usually don't measure the ingredients, make sure you go by your taste.

1 - 8 oz Cream Cheese
1 - stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1/4 t. thyme
1/2 t. parsley
1 1/2 - 2 t. garlic salt (depends on how much you like garlic, we use 2)

Place the ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave on high for 1 minute.  Use a beater and cream ingredients together until smooth.  Microwave longer and beat again if there are any lumps.  Now, just heat until hot and serve.  This looks quite fancy and would be great for a Valentine's Dinner.
