Tuesday's Tip - Keeping your Fridge Clean

Here's a tip a good friend of mine gave me years ago.  I love it, it makes cleaning your fridge super easy.  Take paper towels and lay them on the bottom of your fridge shelf.  Then when something spills you only have to throw away the paper towels and maybe wipe it out a bit.

This is the only time I use paper towels anymore, I always use rags and towels for everything else.  One of these days I hope to splurge and buy towels to use instead of the paper towels.

Here's a pic to show you how nice it works:

Do you have any tips to share?  I'd love to hear them.

That's an awesome idea! My own trick is to put a section of old newspaper in the bottom of both the meat and vegetable/fruit drawers. (Actually, they are both produce drawers, but I use one for meat to keep it separate from everything else.) Liners sure make cleaning easier, especially with drippy meat packages!
LOL, my word verification is 'reponsav'--sounds like responsible and save, doesn't it? Seems appropriate!
