Priorities

Prioritizing, is a life lesson, used in many areas including budgeting and money.  We must take care of the necessities first and foremost as we talked about here.  For if we pay for all our wants first,  we won't have any money left for the needs in our life.  Then we find ourselves deeply in debt with nothing to show for our hard work.

However, if we first take care of necessities first, often there is room for some fun things we want.  The following video is an excellent illustration of this.  I like to think of this in my time management as well, but it totally fits for our money management skills too!

Prioritizing is a Finer Thing!  The post is also linked to Frugal Fridays and Thrifty Thursday.

I hope you enjoyed that and that it made you think.

Could not agree more...I do seminars just on how to prioritize and am always surprised by how many people have never viewed life that way.

Excellent video. I've heard the story, but have never watched it in action. Thanks for sharing!
