Roman Supper

This is your basic Hobo Supper, however, the year we studied Ancients we called it a Roman supper since this would have been something they could have easily eaten outside around the campfires.  It's a kid favorite around here!

Hamburger patties
Potatoes - cubed
Carrots - cut in chunks
Onions - optional
Mushrooms - option

Place the hamburger in the center of a square of tinfoil.  Cut up the vegies and place on top.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Put a small pat of butter on for flavoring.

Close it all up into a packet:

Put it into the oven and bake at 350 for about 1 hour.

What a simple meal and simple clean up!

We make these when ever we go camping. We call them tin foil dinners. They are yummy and filling.
