Routines Help Organization!

Tuesday's Tips Button
Recently I talked about Disorganization.  How it costs us money, time, and our sanity!  I shared my Morning Routine in that post.  Now for the last two weeks I've been getting up early and sticking to that routine.  Now it's time to continue on my journey.

My next plan of action - I'm going to make sure I continue my morning routine and I'm going to add an evening routine for after supper.  Here's the plan, everyone will be involved and help.

  • Clear table and fill the dishwasher
  • Clear counters and wipe them down
  • Sweep entryway, kitchen, & dining room
  • 5 minute room rescue through out the house
There has been a peace in my home since I've started implementing my morning routine!  I'm determined to declutter my home so that it can be a haven of rest and I can find things when I want them!  Will you join me on my journey?  What's the best routine you have?  I would love to hear it!

If you're a blogger I'd love you to link a tip for the home, family, or money management.  Please link directly to your post so others can easily find your tip and put a link back here on your blog.

Gaining Control of my Home Works For Me and is a much Finer Thing!!!  Here's another slip for the Tip Jar!

Routines can definitely make your life better! If my kitchen is clean, the rest of the house seems more organized. So, I like to make sure all the dishes are put away and the sink is cleaned before I go to bed every day. You're morning routine is great. I'm not a morning person so my routine is a bit more relaxed....like play with the baby and drink coffee. Sometimes it's all I can do until I get caffinated!

Routines are great and when I follow mine the day is so much smoother. If I slack and do not get the dishes done in the evening I have a bad morning becasue I wake up to a dirty kitchen...not good.
Thanks for the reminder.

Routines are definitely great! I'm blessed to have a hubby who (most days) shares the duties. And the kids are getting older as well so they can help out in the daily routines.

I'm definitely a routine person. I have a list of things I do every morning (breakfast, laundry, dishes, blogging, shower) before I officially start my day.

I have a routine and a pretty strict schedule. I would be lost without it. But it took purposeful implementation - it didn't come naturally! Great job taking baby steps and sticking to it!
